I adore this post. Entertaining as ever. Yes it was long (your tags are as perfect as your writing style) but it was worth-it long. I like that you didn't try to pat this down and make it into a little lesson. It's not a lesson, but it is definitely thought-worthy. And I liked going on this little (shopping?) trip with you. Thanks for taking me.

ALSO WELCOME BACK! Two words: Blog more!

The one habit I regret picking up from my father is the way he tells stories. I hated it (still not fond of it) when he would tell a story and it is just filled with minute details that only he cares about but puts the listener to sleep. So naturally, I start telling my stories that way now. I can always tell when friends go "uh-huh. yeah. uh-huh" with a glazed look in their eyes.
I need to make an effort to edit that junk down.

Yes still with you.

What were you saying again?

I was thinking about how smart you are nowadays - thinking along the same lines I was - but I have CRS on myside so I can blame it on CRS - you know when you get OLD and forget the word "' and go fishing for something close to it.

Now what was it you were talking about? CRAP! Now I have to go read it again.

LOVE YA - your Dad

Rewatching 'The Monster Squad' and 'Beastmaster' are not as awesome as they once were. Although I was reminded that Wolf Man has nards.
